I like Ikea

Only Ikea, the store that made cheap partical board trendy, can deliver trendy food at prices just as cheap. I had forgotten about Ikea’s food until a recent trip to Atlanta. I didn’t get a chance to dig in this day, but I hope to get back there soon for a cheap dinner! Here is a good review I found on another site.

Richmond Redux

It’s a Southern day today. First it was a Chowhound post on Atlanta, capital of the New South and now here is one on Richmond, VA, Capital of the Old South (and my old stomping grounds).

Bad Mexican on the Virginia Peninsula

I told myself that I wouldn’ try Mexican for a while after leaving San Diego. With all the great Mexican restaurants and Mexico just a short drive a way the food really can’t be beat for good and cheap.

Well, here I am in Virginia on a little Christmas vacation and twice I’ve decided to go to Mexican restaurants that I used to think qualified for Dave’s Cheap Eats (good food, cheap prices). Either times have changed or I’ve become more of a food snob (or a little of both).
