Yes to Cheap Eats in No. Colorado

I haven’t been eating out or traveling a lot lately so it’s been difficult to update this site. However, I did stumble across a great blog posting from Mike Malvey’s Northern Colorado Blog. Kids Eat FREE of Cheap!!! shows when you can feed the kids for free or little at local restaurants. Check it out before your next trip to that part of the country.

Dave’s Cheap Eats is entering new territory, the great snowy city of Colorado, with jamesdenver  and his Thorntree post. He submits the following:

Two places in Denver I frequent — Swift’s Steak House (Broadway/Ellsworth) (although according to this guy) the quality has gone downhill.And Barricuda’s on 11th and Ogden. Neighborhood restaurant with $5 pitchers $2 wells, and surprisinly for a bar a full menu with a some good cooks on staff. Cheaper and more spacious than nearby Park Tavern and Governor’s Park.
